Cinco de Mayo

It was a tiring morning for me as I slept at a late hour. Myself to blame. Definitely.
Today was the start of the lighting assignment and I was supposed to be at university at 9 am. Well..I was ten minutes late. Oops. Sorry Steffi. When Nature calls, you’ve gotta go!

Steffi

The lighting kit was so fucking heavy my poor tired arms could not carry it properly. Steffi carried most of it. I feel so bad now cause I carried the light stuff and she carried all the heavy ones. I’m ashamed of myself. The shoot took shorter than expected finishing around 11:30am than the expected 1:30pm. Deciding it was too late to bring it back to university, we hung out in my room for a further half an hour.

Lights with scrim and blue gels over it.

My bedroom

Headed back to university in Steffi’s Bluebird, not bad considering what year it was made (do not know what the year was but it certainly was old as told by Steffi.)

Having completed something earlier than expected, I remembered having another assignment due in Friday. It was for Journalism and it was a news article based on a live event occurring in Perth but having said that, we must have sources to prove that the event actually occurred. This morning I was so stressed about what event to write about since I haven’t been to any concerts or live shows lately. Thank God the idea popped into my head when I was just on the edge of turning into a stressy cow.

The Art Gallery of Western Australia had a Year 12 Perspective Exhibition on! I remembered it since one guy brought me there a month ago. Thankfully I also changed into something more decent – Oversized shirt, black vest and black jeans <3

Le cafe

Let’s see..what did I order? A cappuccino and a nice walnut friand have created the perfect tea-time, especially when you’re in the right mood and place. These are the times I enjoy being me – single.

Walnut friand

My frothy cuppucino

Just a way for me to show appreciation to life. I’ve never felt so blessed or grateful since today. I just soaked up the warmth of the sun and enjoy life as it is now. I sit there writing all the thoughts and feelings that I’ve felt today into the black notebook that I had and sipped coffee.

I <3>

I am just so happy.

Happy.

Happy for the way I am.

Happy for the life I’m living.

Happy for the things I’ve done.

Happy that I’ve got no regrets.

I am just so happy.

My notebook made from recycled car tyres. Feels funny when you touch it!

Miniature cupcakes anyone?

Care for some mints?

They look like Ecstasy tablets

Another book that caught my interest
